Description: The application enables users to enhance discovery and access to digital resources through geographic visualization and annotation. Users can bring in their own resources and generate Geolocating Web Annotations for them. These structured annotations contain geographic coordinates and other spatial/temporal metadata using the Web Annotation data model. This enables accurate placement of the resources onto a web map. The application also supports adding a navPlace property to IIIF Defined Types. The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) provides a standard way of describing and delivering digital resources.. The Navplace Viewer allows new insights and connections by leveraging the spatial relationships between resources.

Additionally, I spearheaded the implementation of a proof-of-concept (POC) to integrate the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) into an existing appliance framework. This involved meticulously crafting Use case, Class, and Sequence diagrams to provide a clear roadmap for development. To visualize and refine the User Interface (UI), I utilized Balsamiq Wireframe, ensuring a thoughtful and user-friendly design that aligned with project objectives. Subsequently, I translated these design specifications into tangible interfaces by developing the UI using the latest Angular framework, coupled with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. This hands-on involvement in both the conceptual and implementation phases underscored my commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions with a keen focus on design excellence and user experience.
